Check out Case Keenum on ESPN’s ‘QB Camp’ in 2012

Before the 2012 NFL draft, Houston quarterback Case Keenum participated in Jon Gruden’s “QB Camp” series on ESPN. The 25-minute segment with Keenum and Gruden can be seen below:

Right off the bat, Gruden praised Keenum’s availability to stand in the pocket in the face of pressure. He also noted the quarterback’s charisma.

Keenum went on to go undrafted in the draft that year before signing with the Houston Texans (and then-coach Gary Kubiak) as a college free agent. Kubiak is now the Denver Broncos’ senior personnel advisor so the team will be familiar with their new quarterback.

Keenum, 30, is expected to sign a two-year contract with the Broncos worth around $36 million. He will likely become the team’s starter right away with Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly serving as his backups.

The veteran quarterback is coming off a career year with the Minnesota Vikings. You can check out his 2017 highlights here.
